Troubleshooting Android Keyboard Issues
It is very frustrating if using the Android and the keyboard is not working, because all basic tasks are performed by the keyboard such as typing a message or browsing any site on Google. There are numerous ways to address this issue:
Fix 1: Clear the Cache and Data
Cleaning the cache is a very effective method to restore your keyboard. The old memory of the app is deleted and sometimes a person needs to log in again.
Step 1: Open the mobile settings, then tap on App and Notifications, From the next screen tap on App info:
Step 2: Now search for the keyboard and tap on it. A new screen opens; from here, tap on Storage:
Step 3: Tap on the CLEAR CACHE, the cache is clear now you can easily use your keyboard:
Fix 2: Restart the Keyboard
Restarting your keyboard will refresh your keyboard settings:
Step 1: Open the mobile settings, then tap on App and Notifications, From the next screen, tap on App info:
Step 2: Now search for the keyboard and tap on it, and then tap on FORCE STOP:
Fix 3: Install Third Party Keyboard
Open the mobile Play Store and search for the Multiple language keyboard, then tap on Install it and open it:
Now tap on the Enable keyboard:
Give permission to the multiple keyboards by sliding it to the right side, then tap on the Multiply keyboard. In this way it is enabled on Android, and you can easily use it:
Fix 4: Restart your Mobile
On your Android device, a restart can sometimes resolve a variety of difficulties, including the keyboard not working. Restarting the system has the effect of clearing the cache, ending background processes, and refreshing the system.
To restart your smartphone, press and hold the power button for a while. A new screen appears, from this screen, tap on the restart option:
